KEMOLUX boat topcoat
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Boat topcoat is neutral coloured, an air drying coating based on alkyd resin. It is recommended for new or previously varnished wood on interior and exterior surfaces above the water line.
APPLICATION
It is intended as topcoat for new or previously varnished wood in interior and exterior surfaces above the water line, when wanting to preserve wood structure and true colour of wood. Prior to application of topcoat, new wood needs to be impregnated using Linen oil topcoat, and previously varnished wood needs to be sandpapered. It can be brushed or sprayed on. It is recommended to apply several thin coats with time interval between two coats of at least 16 hours, and at the most 14 days. If time interval is longer than this, the coating surface needs to be slightly sanded using sandpaper in order to provide better adhesiveness for the next coat.
COVERAGE
9-11 m2/l applied in one coat on a smooth surface and with a 30 micrometers thick dry film.
