PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
FASENA elastic is is a waterproofing elastic facade paint intended for renovation of old surfaces with active and passive hairline cracks as well as for preventing the occurrence of new cracks on the external active and passive areas of new facades that are exposed to aggressive environmental conditions (high temperature fluctuations, aggressive rainfall action, aggressive action of smog in urban centres, salty wind). Colour can be applied to old mineral, acrylic, silicate and silicone finished plasterings (the classic mortars and ETIC systems). It is also suitable for classic carbonized coarse and fine lime, lime and cement plaster. Applying FASENA elastic creates a film thickness of 0.5 to 1 mm, which allows bridging the crack width up to 0.3 mm, and its elasticity provides repairs of active and inactive microfractures. The colour has a dual system of networking and besides the normal networking during drying it networks also to UV radiation, which gives a low incidence of soiling. Due to unavoidable UV crosslinking of colours, it can be applied only to the outside surfaces. Due to the special material used in the paint, and after a networking, the film retains its permeability property.
APPLICATION
The surface must be clean, firm and dry. All inadequately attached parts and grease should be removed. Then the surface should be impregnated with VITAGRUND deep preservative basecoat,
diluted with water at a ratio of 1:1. FASENA elastic paint is applied undiluted or with the eventual addition of 2-3% of the water to allow for easier application of the paint. Stir well before using FASENA elastic. Apply the paint on a dry surface by brush or roller. At normal temperatures and humidity (20 °C and 60% relative humidity) the second layer is applied after 24 hours.
