SIMPRA silicon primer
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A basecoat undercoat under SIMPRA silicone paint. SIMPRA primer is used to reduce the absorption of mineral surfaces while simultaneously binding particles of the surface and creating hydrophobicity most often on the exterior surfaces prior to coating with silicone paint. It is suitable for all types of mineral surfaces (lime, lime-cement or cement plaster, concrete, gypsum-boards and fibrecement boards). Unsuitable surfaces are stone, wood and plastics and all large horizontal surfaces. It protects the colour of the aggressive factors from the wall. Regulates the absorption and increases the adhesion of paint.
APPLICATION
SIMPRA water-repellent silicone preservative basecoat is diluted with water. Before using, mix well and diluted with water to a ratio of 1:1. It should not create a glossy film on the surface. Colour may not be added. It is applied in one coat with a brush or roller while protecting the frames of the doors and windows including the glass and window sills. Drying time 4-6 hours, depending on conditions of application. Should be protected against rainfall for 24 hours. Must be used within 24 hours of dilution and painted over within one week of application.
