MAESTRO 2C PU - PARQUET LACQUER - MATTE

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  • colourless two-component lacquer based on polyurethane binders in an organic solvent
  • features great hardness, long lifetime, resistant to wear and mild chemicals
  • matte size (20-40%) and film thickness
  • protection and decoration of parquet and other wooden surfaces
  • is not diluted
  • when applying the last layer, the mixture should include 10% of Maestro Retarders

COATING

Apply with a brush, a special short-bristle roller, spraying on in 2 or 3 layers. The recommendation is to apply it on Maestro Preservation basecoat or Maestro Grout gel, and can be applied also directly on wood. The layers are applied in intervals of 24 hours. The Intermediate sanding of layers uses sandpaper no. 150

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Requires a mechanically sanded surface, remove from the old parquet the wax and thoroughly sand, final sanding to be done using sandpaper no. 150; sanded dust collected using a vacuum cleaner, the surface must be dry and clean.

PREPARATION OF MATERIALS:

Each component prior to use must be mixed well. The mixing ration with Maestro Parquet contact gloss is 1:1; homogenise the mixture and after 15 minutes apply it to the surface; the hardening time of the mixture is 6-8 hours.
